Mardi Gras Mini Float
What fun! Have your own parade and wear a mini Mardi Gras float!

You need:

• Tissue Paper
• Balloons
• Shredded Paper (for gift bags)
• White Glue
• Scissors
• 8' of 2" Ribbons
• Low Temp Glue Gun
• Large Cardboard Box
• Matte Knife
• Poster Paint
• Foam Brush

Instructions:

Cut the flaps off the box with a matte knife. Turn it upside down and cut a circle large enough for the child out of the bottom (which will now be the top). Paint the box. Let dry. Cut tissue paper sheets into eight pieces. Crumple them up. Glue onto the sides of the box with white glue. Cover the top of the box with white glue. Arrange shredded paper to cover the top. Use hot glue to attach balloons to bottom, gluing only on the tied off end. Cut ribbon into two 4' pieces. Glue the ends inside the circle opening to make shoulder straps. Adjust size for child's comfort.
