MakingFriends.com is celebrating it's 10th year as the leader in online children's crafts.
Our commitment continues to provide quality craft content at no cost to our visitors
as well as offer the lowest price on discount craft supplies.

The next ten years promises more growth for children's craft websites as the internet generation
matures and seeks activities for their own families.

In order to meet the increased demand for ideas and products, MakingFriends.com has several positions available including the development of a new website.

We are particularly interested in creative, self-motivated individuals with fresh ideas and up-to-date
technical skills. Work-at-home positions are available as well as in-house entry level positions.

Shipping Clerk (In-House Only, Long Island): 
Immediate, position at our Kings Park location. 11 AM to 4 PM, Monday to Friday with some flexibility of hours. Must be detail oriented. Pleasant working environment. Start $8/hour (will train) or $10/hour for experience with UPS Worldship, Dazzle and Fed Ex Ship Manager.

Retail Sales (Commission): 
An excellent opportunity for a motivated Girl Scout leader to use her experience as a volunteer to launch a successful sales career. Candidate should have excellent phone skills and knowledge of the Girl Scout program. Contacts within the Girl Scout industry helpful.

Graphic Designer (Paid Internship): 
Responsible for creating and developing logos, advertisements, packaging and sales collateral.  Undergraduates are welcomed to work on spec or must have previous intern experience. Excellent portfolio-building experience with compensation. Opportunity to continue on a freelance basis after graduation.

Kit Making and Order Fulfillment (In-House Only, Long Island): 
Start August 2008 at our Kings Park location. 10 AM to 4 PM with some flexibility of hours. Entry level position. Easy work, pleasant environment. Start $8/hour. Resume not required. Email terri@makingfriends.com for interview.

Website Developer (Paid Internship): 
Individual must have excellent spoken and written English. The candidate must be qualified to develop a database driven website with simple user administration panel. Knowledge of video enabling and SEO a must. E-Commerce a plus.  Undergraduates are welcomed to work on spec or must have previous intern experience.

Craft Designers: 
While MakingFriends.com does not monetarily compensate craft designers, we do offer an opportunity to showcase your ideas in exchange for publicity and a valuable link to your website. For those without websites, you can submit your finished projects to our sister website FreeKidsCrafts.com in exchange for free craft supplies. This is an excellent opportunity for youth leaders and other individuals in need of materials.
