Pleated Stars
Use folded punchinella ribbon to create big colorful decorations to hang
inside or out.
You need:

Instructions:
Fan fold each piece of punchinella in 1-1/2" folds, creasing
firmly. Line up the end pieces of two colors. Staple together. Staple
the third piece to one end. Refold so you have a stack of punched ribbon
in the three colors. Work a pipe cleaner through the holes at one end of
the stack. Let the other end open up and fan out. Loop around, pulling
the pipe cleaner tight to create the shape. Twist the pipe cleaner to
hold the shape. Bring the two ends together and staple. Trim off excess
pipe cleaner. Use the scrap to make a hanging loop.
